Early detection and prevention are key
Tooth decay is the most common chronic childhood disease. At Your Dentistree we feel strongly that early detection can prevent irreparable tooth decay potentially leading to loss of teeth and infections.
Fissure Sealants
According to the Australian Dental Association fissures which are the deep grooves on the teeth are up to five times more susceptible of developing into cavities. Research has shown sealing these grooves eliminates the risk of developing tooth decay. At Your Dentistree we can provide a protective coating over the fissures to ensure your child is not at risk of developing decay.
Fissure sealants are a quick, effective and painless conservative preventative treatment. Children can drink and eat as normal immediately after the procedure.
How do I know if my child is eligible for the Medicare Children’s Dental Benefit Scheme?
The CDBS scheme provides eligible children with up to $1,000 in basic dental services that are capped over two consecutive years.
